SIX BOOKS. A WHOLE WEEK TO CHOOSE.

Find your next great read.

Don’t just recommend it. Convince us. ReaderPool brings the BingePool approach to books: a shared pool, short personal pitches, and a weekly community pick.

One Pool, six weekly picks

Members nominate real books from Open Library with a spoiler-free pitch of up to 150 characters. Book editions share one nomination, so boosts stay together. Author, publication year, and page count help you judge the reading commitment. Page counts vary by edition.

Boost a book into the Weekly Six

Sign in to boost as many books as you like. A boost helps choose a future shortlist; your weekly vote chooses the winner. Click Boosted again to remove a boost. Members can add up to 5 new nominations per UTC calendar day.

Make room for hidden gems

Two places are reserved for the most-boosted eligible hidden gem suggestions. Four go to the most-boosted remaining books. Other eligible books fill unused discovery places. Ties use nomination age, then ID. A hidden gem is a member suggestion, not an award or a rating.

One vote each week

No account is needed to vote. Choose one of the six books. Your choice and region are locked for the entire weekly edition, even if you switch regions or sign in later.

Each ballot runs from Friday at 00:00 until the following Friday at 00:00 in its reference city, covering all of Friday through Thursday, including daylight-saving changes. The six books are shared, but each region chooses its own winner. Your own local clock may differ.

A new read for the week ahead

The most-voted book wins. Ties use the locked shortlist order; a ballot with no votes has no winner. Results appear after the scheduled update. The winner leads the homepage until Friday at 6 AM in the reference city, then stays below the next Weekly Six for the rest of the week.

Books take a 30-day break after a shortlist appearance. A winner in any region takes a 180-day break. Boosting winning books reopens when they become eligible again; discussion stays open.
